At the end of February, Layer 2 Blast was deployed on the Ethereum mainnet. Since then, it has attracted more than $3 billion in TVL, according to DefiLlama. At the same time, the protocol carried out a points campaign to measure the activity of each user in anticipation of an airdrop.
Blast airdrop scheduled for June 26
That’s it, we are in the final stretch before the airdrop of the L2 Blast governance token.
This marks the end of the first points season conducted by the protocol. As a reminder, users could collect two types of points:
- THE points Blastby depositing funds into the L2 via the official bridge and keeping tokens on-chain;
- THE Blast Goldusing the different decentralized finance protocols deployed on the L2.
Thus, the airdrop will be distributed between the two categories. Half of the tokens will go directly to users via Blast Points. The other half will be distributed via Blast Gold accumulated on dApps in the ecosystem.
On June 19, the Blast teams announcement that there was nothing left only one week left until the long-awaited airdrop. In fact, this will take place on June 26.
For their part, decentralized applications are invited to distribute Blast Gold before June 25 at 2 p.m. French time.
In order to be able to claim your tokens, it is essential to have already connected your address to the dashboard of Blast and having signed the connection transaction. Any forgetting results in loss of the airdrop.
Clearly, we are in a period rich in airdrops. Indeed, the LayerZero protocol distributed its airdrop this Thursday, June 20.
