RN, NFP, Renaissance… Our program comparator

[ad_1]

To help you see things more clearly a few days before the legislative elections, we have analyzed the programs of the main alliances in the running. Purchasing power, taxation, housing, pensions, environment, education, immigration, security, international… Which party is most likely to convince you? Here is our comparison.

Will there be a majority to govern in the National Assembly? Barely three weeks after the European elections, French people are invited to return to the polls, these Sundays, June 30 and July 7, on the occasion oflegislative elections anticipated. The challenge? Elect 577 deputies supposed to represent as many constituencies for a five-year mandate.

Four large blocs are seeking the votes of the French for the occasion, and are credited with more than 5% of voting intentions in our latest Elabe poll for BFMTV, RMC and La Tribune on Sunday:

  • the National Rally (RN) by Jordan Bardella and Marine Le Pen, supported by Éric Ciotti, contested president of the Republicans;
  • the New Popular Front (NFP), a left-wing alliance which notably brings together La France insoumise, the Socialist Party, the Ecologists and the Communist Party;
  • Ensemblethe banner of the Macronists, which notably associates the presidential party Renaissance, the Horizons movement of Édouard Philippe and the Modem of François Bayrou;
  • The Republicans (LR) who contest the authority of Eric Ciotti and have chosen not to ally with the RN for his elections.

On this occasion, and less than a week before the first round of voting, scheduled for Sunday June 30, BFMTV.com compared the programs of these four main blocks. Twelve major themes were selected: culture, education, environment, taxation, immigration, institutions, international, housing, purchasing power, pensions, security and justice, social issues.

Choose the theme that interests you from the drop-down list below to compare the main party proposals on the subject. We retained up to five measures per list each time, by synthesizing the elements present in their program or on their campaign website – this is a selectionwith some candidates sometimes listing several dozen measures. You can click on a party to obtain more detailed explanations on each item.

You still have a few days left to make your choice: the first round of the early legislative elections will take place this Sunday, June 30. The first estimates will be revealed the same evening from 8 p.m.: you will be able to find detailed results on BFMTV and BFMTV.com.

This program comparison was coordinated by Hortense de Montalivet, with the participation of the digital editorial teams of BFMTV, BFM Business and Tech&Co.
